Piedimonte Matese, Torano Valley and aqueduct
Urban trekking route through the squares and alleys of Piedimonte Matese, to discover the artistic wonders and hidden corners of the old village, up to the path that reaches the Samnite walls on Mount Cila. A must-see is the Torano Valley, a site of shameless beauty; a hidden natural paradise, to be explored when accompanied by expert guides. An incredibly interesting construction that testifies to human ingenuity is the Campania aqueduct at the Torano spring, where a long tunnel leads into the heart of the mountain alongside the powerful flow of the spring, whose clear waters reach the island of Procida.

Ravines of Lavello and Cusano Mutri
River trek to discover an art gallery whose works have been sculpted by water running through canyons and caves that were once a hiding place for bandits. The path runs through the valley of the Titerno stream which forms suggestive jumps off white limestone rocks with waterfalls, gurgles and small whirlpools. The village of Cusano Mutri, the pearl of the Matese area, is not to be missed.

Autumn foliage
An excursion to explore the colours of autumn, among beech woods and panoramic views, carpets of gold and purply leaves, the scents of moss and the undergrowth. Yellow, orange, red and gold. It is in autumn that nature transforms, passing from shades of vivid and intense green to the warmest and most fiery tones.

The three lakes: Matese, Gallo and Letino
A trip to discover the Matese lakes, each a wealth of biodiversity, set between moun- tains and villages perched on the rocks. Choose to walk along the paths that run along them, from the Lete river to the Letino lake, or look out from the Miralago viewpoint and Letino terrace to admire the Matese and Gallo lakes.

Festa dei Briganti and theatrical trekking
San Gregorio Matese hosts the liveliest folkloric event in the Park: the Festa dei Briganti. Alleyways alive with celebrations and live music; costumed raids; banquets with stuffed peppers, stracciata cheese, gnocchi and caso e’ova meatballs; literary encounters; and folk dances. The pre-party takes place in the woods: a theatrical excursion with costumed actors who tell stories of bandits and accompany walkers on a journey that hangs in time between nature, legend and powerful emotions.
